Rafales Fighter Jets, First Batch Released from France to India

Five Rafale fighter jets have been released from France and will land in India by Wednesday - 29th July 2020. The jets will make a journey of 7000 km with air to air fuelling and will have one stop till the time it reaches India.

The jets will join the Indian Army's fleet in Ambala, Haryana. These Rafale Jets are a part of a deal done with Dassault which has been permitted to deliver 36 total Rafale Jets. The jets are a part of a 59000 crore deal made by the Government in the year 2016. 

Training has already been given to around 12 pilots of IAF and few engineering crew pertaining to these Rafale Jets

The Rafale Fighter Jets are highly appreciated for its capacity to carry weapons and equipment via air to air transfer. The Jets also have other customised specifications like a helmet mounted display, less band jammers, tracking systems and many more. 


The arrangement has already been made by the Indian Air Force to welcome these fighter jets with all the necessary criteria and essentials.
